WHY ISLAM IS NOT A RELIGION OF PEACE

Islam is definitely not the same as Christianity or Judaism as Muslims will try their best to make you believe, and wishful thinking won't make it so.

 THE WORD ISLAM MEANS SUBMISSION

We are told time and time and again that Islam is a religion of peace; anyone telling you that is just engaged in uninformed, wishful thinking or is deliberately trying to deceive you.

First of all, we should know that Islam means “submission,” not peace. This does not imply mere voluntary submission but includes a forced submission where subjects will not comply. Historically Islam is not known for its peace movements, but for a uniquely Arab word we all know as “jihad,” which means an offensive war intended to lead to the conversion of the infidel to Islam or his annihilation.

Dave Hunt notes: “Islam is fighting a holy war for control of the world! That war was begun by Mohammed himself in the seventh century and is still carried on today by his faithful followers through terrorism. The terrorists are not radicals or extremists, as the media continually labels them. Instead, these are Islamic fundamentalists who are true to their religion and the teachings of the Quran and who follow faithfully in the footsteps of their great Prophet, Mohammed.”

As one former Muslim and Islamic scholar has said: “We must never imagine that such Muslims are being unnecessarily wicked. They are simply being faithful to their religion. The fact is never hidden as to the attitude a good Muslim should have towards Christians and Jews. In fact, much of the incitement to violence and war in the whole of the Quran is directed against the Jews and Christian who rejected what they felt to be the strange god Mohammed was try to preach.” (Emphasis added:  Dave Hunt, A Cup of Trembling: Jerusalem and Bible Prophecy (Eugene, OR: Harvest House, 1995, pp. 196-97..)

It appears that the fundamentalists versions of Islam are closer to historic Islam than those who are followers of so-called modern “mainstream” Islamic expressions. Non fundamentalist Muslims are the ones who have changed historically and moved away from the historic Islam.

Anyone with even a casual acquaintance with Islam knows that the Quran is the authoritative scripture for the Muslim. Yet observe the many direct quotes from the Quran advocating militancy toward the non-Muslim. There are probably more that could be cited, but these are some that this novice was able to glean from Islam’s so called “holy” book.

The Quran dictates repeatedly that its followers must convert you to Islam or kill you if you refuse to convert.

Much of the Quran speaks not about religion but only about how one must submit; it commands how one must live, dress, treat women and slaves, and practice jihad.

Islam is absolutely NOT a religion of peace at all; the perpetrators of terrorism are following the edicts clearly given in the Surahs (verses) that constitute the Quran, their holy book.

The Quran (translated by N.J. Dawood) says the following:

"We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, for that they have associated with Allah for which He has sent down no authority, and their abode in the Fire; and how bad is the abode of the unjust!" (Surah Al-Imran 3:151)

"And kill them (non-Muslims) wherever you find them … kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers (non-Muslims)." (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:191)

"When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters wherever you find them" (Surah At-Tawbah 9:5).

"When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield, strike off their heads" (Surah Muhammad 47:4).

"Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home: an evil fate" (Surah At-Tawbah 9:73).

"The true believers fight for the cause of God, but the infidels fight for the devil. Fight then against the friends of Satan" (Surah An-Nisa 4:76).

 "Muhammad is God's Apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another" (Surah Al-Fath 48:29).

So, who are these idolaters and unbelievers and infidels? Those who are not strict Muslims.

The non-Islamic must wake up and realize that we are at war.   A war that cannot be won by being politically correct, appeasing, ignoring or coddling the enemy.  Those who strongly believe in the evil ideologies of the Quran, the Hadiths and Islamic terrorists are not going to just go away and leave us alone.

According to their Quran, they must persist until we are either all converted to Islam or killed.

We must never forget Winston Churchill’s warning because he understood this problem well when he wrote, "How dreadful are the curses which Muhammadism lays on its votaries! … Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in this world."

Muhammad founded Islam with the sword. His followers maintained Islamic rule with the sword. Subsequent generations have always spread Islam’s oppressive rule beyond the Arabian Peninsula with the sword. One cannot be a true follower of Islam without holding to the tenants of the Quran, which also advocates forced submission to its rule. How can anyone who knows much about Islam deny this?

So, why are so many in Canada, the United States and the West inclined to want to believe that Islam is a peaceful religion and not the militant movement that desires to conquer the world through Jihad? In general, it is most likely because of liberal enlightenment beliefs that dominate their mindset. Just as liberals change Christianity from something that includes the literal Word of God in the Bible that has occurred literally in history to the words of man that contain human ideas and universal human ethics. Western Muslims are often “liberal,” by Middle Eastern standards, in their interpretations of Islam. Just as liberal “Christians” deny direct biblical statements and reinterpret Christianity as something that they want it to be, so also do Muslims, primarily in the West. It is only in this way can anyone could attempt to represent Islam as a peaceful religion.

Biblical Christianity does not advocate the use of the sword to spread its message of forgiveness from sin by faith alone in Christ alone. The Bible advocates propagation of its message through the preaching of the gospel and verbal persuasion. Of course, Christians have the secret weapons of prayer and the Holy Spirit that works behind the scene in conjunction with the preaching of the gospel.

Is Christianity a religion of peace? Christianity is a religion of peace to those who come to know the grace of God through belief in the gospel message. Christianity is a peaceful religion in that Scripture does not advocate the spread of its message in any way through the sword, but with words only. However, the Bible clearly does teach that God, not mankind, will judge those who reject the gospel message of Jesus, His Son. Paul says the following in 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10: “For after all it is only just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. And these will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed—for our testimony to you was believed.”

I’m not trying to be an alarmist........ I am a realist. 

Now you would ask me “What is a realist?” A realist is someone who looks at things as they are in life and deal with them in a practical manner.

When you are a realist, you see the world “as it is,” and you have the natural inclination to view all sides of an issue from an objective stance. Realists are not as swayed by unconscious bias or idealistic aims that easily move most people. Rather, they see the truth and prefer it to be unvarnished.

Some positive characteristics of realists are that they are clear-headed, grounded, non-judgmental, objective, and can sort out fact from fiction. They have a great sense of perception. Events in life seem transparent to these people because they are able to predict the outcome of various situations. Since they tell things exactly as they are, their vision is not distorted by a need to interpret things otherwise. They regard the world as a continually interesting series of events with unending variety and they approve of it. For realists, their mode of seeing is primarily through action as it occurs. Meanings or moods within an action are not as important as the bare event itself.

As a realist, I see the world the way it is and I’m not afraid to speak the truth even though many may not agree with me.  I am absolutely positive that many of you reading this article and what I am about to say, will not agree with me....but.......... it is the truth.  All you have to do is look around you and be prepared to face reality.

Now to get into my topic THE TRUTH ABOUT SHARIA, I have to by saying that Islam is not a peaceful religion. In fact, Islam is not a religion but rather an ideology. The Quran proves that time and time and again. The truth -- there are 4 stages of Islam: 

      1. Infiltration

      2.Consolidation of power

      3. Open war with leadership and culture

      4.Totalitarian Islamic Theocracy

After immersing myself in the Quran and Hadiths and as someone from the outside looking in with an unbiased and open mind, Islam, in my opinion, is an enemy to all -- but especially to women. It is always very upsetting when I hear of torture and death of women at the whims of men -- fathers and husbands who obey the Quran. I won’t get into specifics because it is upsetting but, one has to ask the question "What kind of demonstration of peace is that?"

There is argument about Muslims being peaceful. Those who are so-called 'peaceful' are not the true followers of Islam. They do not walk out or live out the dictates of the Quran. It is those who obey the Quran explicitly who are a threat to Judea-Christian / non Muslim society.  Below is a list of evil and oppressive laws according to the Quran and Hadiths (Hadiths are supposedly Muhammad’s words).

 According to Sharia law:

           1.    Muslims are to subjugate the world under Islam (Quran Surah At-Tawbah 9:29).

2.    Criticizing Muhammad or denying that he is a prophet is punishable by death.

3.    Criticizing or denying Allah is punishable by death.

4.    Criminals of genocide, mass-rape, looting etc (Hiraba) will not be punished if they repent.

5.    Muslims should engage in Taqiyya and lie to non-Muslims to advance Islam (Quran Surah An-Nahl 16:106).  According to the authoritative Arabic text, Al-Taqiyya Fi Al-Islam: "Taqiyya [deception] is of fundamental importance in Islam. Practically every Islamic sect agrees to it and practices it. We can go so far as to say that the practice of taqiyya is mainstream in Islam, and that those few sects not practicing it diverge from the mainstream...Taqiyya is very prevalent in Islamic politics, especially in the modern era."

6.    Theft is punishable by amputation of the hands (Quran Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:38)

7.    No retaliation for parents and grandparents for killing their offspring.

8.    Amputation punishments for successive thefts: 1st left hand, 2nd right hand, 3rd left foot, 4th right foot, 5th head.

9.    You can enslave for sex or work (Quran Surah An-Nisa 4:3 & 4:24; Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:89;  Surah Al-Ahzab 33:50; Surah Al-Mujadila 58:3 and  Surah Al-Ma'arij 70:30)

10.  One can have sexual intercourse with a captive woman after she is clear of her period and/or delivery. If she has a husband, then her marriage is abrogated when she becomes a captive.

11.  You will kill non-Muslims to receive 72 virgins in Heaven (Quran Surah At-Tawbah 9:111)

12.  Muslim men have sexual rights to any woman/girl not wearing the Hijab. Taharrush Gamea is the coordinated seхual assault of a girl or a woman in public by a mass of Muslim men. Taharrush Gamea is not a “game” as some Muslims claim. In Arabic, Taharrush means “harassment,” Jinsi means “seхual,” and Gamea (pronounced and spelled, Jamai by non-Egyptian Muslims) means “mass” or “group.”

13.  You can beat sex slaves (Quran Surah An-Nisa 4:34)

14.  Kill Jews and Christians if they do not convert or pay a Jizya tax (Quran Surah At-Tawbah 9:29)

15.  A man-made government, such as democracy, is an abomination and must be eliminated.

16.  A percentage of Zakat (alms) must go towards jihad.

17.  Jihad defined as "to war against non-Muslims to establish the religion." According to sharia law it is the duty of every Muslim and 'Not performing jihad or fleeing from combat with unbelievers" is considered an enormity crime, and duty of every Muslim head of state (Caliph). Muslim Caliphs who refuse jihad are in violation of Sharia and unfit to rule.

18.  You will terrorize non-Muslims (Quran Surah Al-Anfal 8:12 &  8:60)

19.  A Muslim shall not be put to death for murdering an unbeliever.

20.  Fight everyone in the way of Allah and kill those who disbelieve Mohammad (Ibn Ishaq 992)

21.  A Muslim who becomes a non-Muslim is punishable by death.

22.  A non-Muslim who leads a Muslim away from Islam is punishable by death.

23.  A non-Muslim man who marries a Muslim woman is punishable by death.

24.  A woman or girl who has been raped cannot testify in court against her rapist(s).

25.  Testimonies of 4 male witnesses are required to prove rape of a female (Quran Surah An-Nur 24:13).

26.  A woman or girl who alleges rape without producing 4 male witnesses is guilty of adultery.

27.  A woman or girl found guilty of adultery is punishable by death.

28.  A male convicted of rape can have his conviction dismissed by marrying his victim.

29.  A woman can have 1 husband, a man can have up to 4 wives, but Muhammad can have 9.

30.  A man can marry an infant girl and consummate the marriage when she is 9 years old.

31.  Girls’ clitoris should be cut (Muhammad’s words, Book 41, Kitab Al-Adab, Hadith 5251).

32.  A man can beat his wife for insubordination (see Quran Surah An-Nisa 4:34).

33.  A man can unilaterally divorce his wife; a wife needs her husband’s consent to divorce.

34.  A divorced wife loses custody of all children over 6 years of age or when they exceed it.

35.  A woman’s testimony in court, allowed in property cases, carries ½ the weight of a man’s.

36.  A female heir inherits half of what a male heir inherits.

37.  A woman cannot speak alone to a man who is not her husband or relative.

38.  Meat to eat must come from animals that have been sacrificed to Allah – i.e., be “Halal.”

39.  Husbands are obliged to provide only food, clothes and accommodation to wives. Anything else including doctor’s fees, medicines etc is a charity to her. A rebellious wife does not get anything.

All of the above is an exposition on doctrine and its various manifestations, not an assertion on the actual practices of the average Muslim. The deciding question is how literally any given Muslim follows sharia and its worldview.

So-called "moderate" Muslims – or, more specifically, secularised Muslims – do not closely adhere to sharia, and therefore have little to dissemble about. On the other hand, "radical" Muslims who closely observe sharia law, which splits the world into two perpetually warring halves, will always have a "divinely sanctioned" right to deceive, until "all chaos ceases, and all religion belongs to Allah" (Quran Surah Al-Anfal 8:39).

AUTHENTICITY OF THE QURAN

Many Muslims that I’ve talked to have said to me that there is only one Quran, and that it has been perfectly preserved, and that all Qurans around the world are identical. They have said to prove that the Quran is better than the Bible. Maybe a Muslim has said this to you, or maybe you are a Muslim and have said this to others?

 It is very common for Muslims to believe this because this is what their Islamic leaders preach.

 Now before you go bat-shit crazy and condemn me, after you read this article, I urge you to please go through every Quranic verse I show in this article and see for yourself if the quoted verses are correct or incorrect.  I know it’s correct because I have a hard copy of the Quran and I’ve read all 114 suras (chapters) more times than I can count and have taken careful notes on the inconsistencies and violent messages.

 Also .... you can just simply walk into your local Islamic bookshop and ask what versions of the Quran they sell.

 And..... if you visit this online books store, you will find it has 13 versions of the Quran in Arabic.

Do you know how many verses are there in the Quran? You will find that number of verses in Hafs is 6236, while Warsh has only 6214 verses.

 Which one is the right version? Which one did Muhammad recite? Which one matches the eternal preserved tablets that is with Allah?

 Interesting fact: Did you know the the official version of the Quran was only finalized in 1924 in Cairo, Egypt? It was only authorized officially as recently as 1985, in Saudi Arabia. Why did it take 1300 years for the world to finalize and authorize the Quran, if there has always been just the one and the same Quran all over the world? Now you know why.

 Allah said that he will preserve his word (Surah Al-Hijr 15:9).  Did someone manage to change his words?

 ITS A MESS !!!

Apart from 31 versions of the Quran today Hafs, Warsh, Al Doori and 28 more versions, 93000 errors in 31 versions of the quran......evidence from Hadiths and Sunnah that the corruption of the Quran started right from the time of Mohammad with Nasukh wa Mansukh, Satanic verses and black magic affect.

1. The goat ate the quran verses and the Maulana ate the goat
2. Narrators forgetting verses
3. Abdullah Ibn Abi Saad catching mohamad fabricating verses.
4. Abdullah Ibn Masood, Ubay bin Kaab, Umar all adding and subtracting suras as they pleased.
5. Umar destroying the original quran
6. Umar rearranging the quran verses to make people forget what they had originally memorized.
7. More than 200 verses missing from the quran today.

GOAT ATE IT:
■ al-Musnad (43/343), and Ibn Maajah in as-Sunan (no. 1944)
This was narrated by Imam Ahmad ; the latter version says:  "When the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a tame sheep came in and ate it".

■ (Sahih Muslim, Vol. 2, p.740).
A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that it had been revealed in the Quran that 'ten clear sucklings make the marriage unlawful, then it was abrogated by five sucklings and Allah's Apostle (saw) died, it was kept under the pillow and a tame goat came and ate it'. (wa anzala alayhil-kitaaba fakaana mimmaa anzalallaahu aayaatur-rajm,)

■ (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, p.539).
"By Allah, we do not find the verse of the Rajam in Allah's Book', and thus they will go astray by leaving an obligation which Allah has revealed".

FORGOT THE VERSES:
■ ( Sahih Muslim, Vol. 2, p.501).
We used to recite a surah which resembled in length and severity to (Surah) Bara'at. I have, however, forgotten it with the exception of this which I remember out of it:   "If there were two valleys full of riches, for the son of Adam, he would long for a third valley, and nothing would fill the stomach of the son of Adam but dust".

■ (As-Suyuti, Al-Itqan, p.525).
similar to the record of it in the Sahih Muslim, which states that the verse was from a surah resembling Suratul-Bara'ah in length, except that in this case Abu Musa is not said to have forgotten it but rather that it had subsequently been withdrawn (thumma rafa'at - "then it was taken away"), the verse on the greed of the son of Adam alone being preserved

DISPUTE :
■ (2.106). (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 6, p.489).
Narrated Ibn Abbas: Umar said "Ubayy was the best of us in the recitation (of the Quran) yet we leave some of what he recites". Ubayy says, "I have taken it from the mouth of Allah's Apostle (saw) and will not leave it for anything whatever"  YET 2 OF SURAHS FROM HIS QURAN WERE DISCARDED.

CORRUPTION:
■ (Ibn Ishaq, Sirat Rasulullah, p.684). (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, p.540).
Both the records of the tradition in the Sahih of Bukhari and the Sirat of Ibn Ishaq add that Umar mentioned another missing verse which was once part of the kitabullah (viz. the Quran) which the earliest of Muhammad's companions used to recite, namely "O people! Do not claim to be the offspring of other than your fathers, as it is disbelief on your part to claim to be the offspring of other than your real father."

■ (as-Suyuti, Al-Itqan fii Ulum al-Quran, p.526).
We used to recite a surah similar to one of the Musabbihaat, and I no longer remember it, but this much I have indeed preserved: 'O you who truly believe, why do you preach that which you do not practise?' (and) 'that is inscribed on your necks as a witness and you will be examined about it on the Day of Resurrection'.

TRUTHS & MYTHS ABOUT ISLAM

 10 REASONS ISLAM IS NOT FROM GOD

 Reason No. 1

Islam cannot be from God because the prophet of Islam, Muhammad, did not pass God's first test for a prophet. Deuteronomy 18:21-22 tells us that God will authenticate those He sends as a prophet by having them perform signs. Muhammad gave no sign as required by God.

(Deuteronomy 18:21-22) 21 "You may say in your heart, 'How will we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?' 22 "When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

Muslims recognize this and try to overcome the principle of God confirming his revelation with signs by asserting that the revelation of the Quran itself is a sign. When Muhammad was challenged by the Jews and Christians to produce a sign, he received a special revelation from Allah.

Quran Surah Al-An'am 6:36-39:   36. And they said: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?"  Say: 37. "Allâh is certainly able to send down a sign, but most of them know not." 38. There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communitie like you. We have neglected nothing in the Book, then unto their Lord they (all) shall be gathered. 39. Those who reject our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) are deaf and dumb in darkness. Allâh sends astray whom He wills and He guides on the Straight Path whom He wills.

Muslims claim that the Quran itself is the sign God gave Muhammad.

Notice the difference in the Muslim claims and the evidence put forward by the Hebrew writer in Hebrews 2:3-4, "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; 4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?"

 

Reason No. 2

Islam cannot be from God because Muhammad's teaching does not pass the second test God gave for a prophet. Deuteronomy 13:1-4 tells us that no prophet will bring a revelation that is in conflict with previous revelation. His revelation must agree with the previous revelation of God. Deuteronomy 13:1-4

Deuteronomy 13:1-4, 1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

Muhammad's revelation contradicts the previous revelations in both facts and principles. Consider the account of Joseph. In the Quran, Surah Yusuf 12, in Ayah 21.

Quran Surah Yusuf 12:21-34, 21. And the Egyptian who bought him said to his wife: Give him an honorable abode, maybe he will be useful to us, or we may adopt him as a son. And thus did We establish Yusuf in the land and that We might teach him the interpretation of sayings; and Allah is the master of His affair, but most people do not know. 22. And when he had attained his maturity, We gave him wisdom and knowledge: and thus do We reward those who do good. 23. And she in whose house he was sought to make himself yield (to her), and she made fast the doors and said: Come forward. He said: I seek Allah's refuge, surely my Lord made good my abode: Surely the unjust do not prosper. 24. And certainly she made for him, and he would have made for her, were it not that he had seen the manifest evidence of his Lord; thus (it was) that We might turn away from him evil and indecency, surely he was one of Our sincere servants. 25. And they both hastened to the door, and she rent his shirt from behind and they met her husband at the door. She said: What is the punishment of him who intends evil to your wife except imprisonment or a painful chastisement? 26. He said: She sought to make me yield (to her); and a witness of her own family bore witness: If his shirt is rent from front, she speaks the truth and he is one of the liars: 27. And if his shirt is rent from behind, she tells a lie and he is one of the truthful. 28. So when he saw his shirt rent from behind, he said: Surely it is a guile of you women; surely your guile is great: 29. O Yusuf! turn aside from this; and (O my wife)! ask forgiveness for your fault, surely you are one of the wrong-doers. 30. And women in the city said: The chiefs wife seeks her slave to yield himself (to her), surely he has affected her deeply with (his) love; most surely we see her in manifest error. 31. So when she heard of their sly talk she sent for them and prepared for them a repast, and gave each of them a knife, and said (to Yusuf): Come forth to them. So when they saw him, they deemed him great, and cut their hands (in amazement), and said: Remote is Allah (from imperfection); this is not a mortal; this is but a noble angel. 32. She said: This is he with respect to whom you blamed me, and certainly I sought his yielding himself (to me), but he abstained, and if he does not do what I bid him, he shall certainly be imprisoned, and he shall certainly be of those who are in a state of ignominy. 33. He said: My Lord! the prison house is dearer to me than that to which they invite me; and if Thou turn not away their device from me, I will yearn towards them and become (one) of the ignorant. 34. Thereupon his Lord accepted his prayer and turned away their guile from him; surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

Now consider the same account from the Bible in Genesis 39:7-21

(Genesis 39:7-21) 7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. 8 But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; 9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? 10 And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. 11 And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. 12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. 13 And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth, 14 That she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice: 15 And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out. 16 And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home. 17 And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me: 18 And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out. 19 And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled. 20 And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

Consider the differences in the facts presented about the lives of the Biblical characters. In the Quran Potiphar was at the door when Joseph fled. He wasn't at home in the Bible Account. In the Quran, Potiphar believed Joseph while in the Bible, Potiphar believed his wife. In the Quran, Joseph requested that he be put in prison so that he might avoid the temptation of women and in the Bible, he was imprisoned by Potiphar for accosting his wife. Surely it is easy to see the differences. Joseph is just a sample. There are other contradictions in almost every account of the lives of Biblical people. In the Quran, one of Noah's sons died in the flood while in the Bible, all of them were on the ark. Compare the Biblical account of Lot with the Quran's account of Lot (Lut in the Quran-NR). In the Quran, Abraham's father was an idolater and forced Abraham to leave home for trying to teach monotheism, while the Biblical account has Abraham leaving after his father's death.

Now consider just one principle that is set forth in the New Testament with the principles set forth in the Quran.

The New Testament, Matthew 5:44, But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Quran Surah As-Saf 6:4. Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way in ranks as if they were a firm and compact wall

Quran Surah Al Baqarah 2:190-191. And fight in the way of Allah with those who fight with you, and do not exceed the limits, surely Allah does not love those who exceed the limits. 191. And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers.

What a contrast. Jesus says to love, forgive, and pray for your enemies. The Quran says to kill them. If that isn't a different doctrine than what was revealed, nothing is.

 

Reason No. 3

Islam cannot be from God because it denies the Godhood of Jesus. In the Quran, Muhammad takes great pains to deny the deity of Jesus. It demeans Jesus and makes him just a man. In Philippians, Paul asserts that Jesus existed in the form of God.

Quran Surah An-Nisa 4:171 "O people of the book! Commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of God naught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of God, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: So believe in God and His messengers..."

(Philippians 2:5-9) 5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name.

 

Reason No. 4

Islam cannot be from God because Muhammad frequently changed his revelations to suit circumstances. The classic example is Muhammad's teaching on drinking. When he was just beginning to teach, before Muhammad gained a significant following he said that it was alright to drink.

Quran Surah Al-Baqarah 2:219 They ask you concerning wine; gambling, say "In them is great sin, And some profit for men; but the sin is greater than the profit.

As his power base grew, he presented a stronger position. It was not acceptable to have had any intoxicants close enough to prayers to fog the mind.

Quran Surah An-Nisa 4:43 O you who believe! Approach not prayer with a mind befogged, until you can understand All that you say.

When his position was strongly established, he forbade the use of intoxicants entirely.

Quran Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:93 O you who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (Dedication) of stones, And (divination by) arrows, Are an abomination, - Of Satan' handiwork: Eschew such (abomination) That you may prosper. 94. Satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance Of Allah, and from prayer: Will you not then abstain?

 His final revelation calls the use of intoxicants "Satan's handiwork." This puts him in the awkward position of having had Allah approve of "Satan's Handiwork' when he said that there was "some profit for men" in the use of intoxicants.

Reason No. 5

Islam cannot be from God because its appeal is to man's lower nature rather than his higher nature. Compare the Biblical appeal of heaven to the Quranic appeal of heaven.

The Biblical Appeal

Matthew 5:10-12, 10. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Peter 1:3-4, 3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Mark 12:24-25, 24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? 25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

Revelation 7:9-17, 9. After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. 13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

The Quran makes a large portion of its appeal to the fleshly appetites and sensibilities of man.

Quran Surah As-Saffat 37:40. But the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah, 41. For them is a Sustenance Determined, 42. Fruits (Delights) and they (Shall enjoy) honor and dignity, 43. In Gardens of Felicity, 44. Facing each other On Thrones (of dignity): 45. Round will be passed To them a Cup From a clear flowing fountain, 46. Crystal white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof), 47. Free from headiness; nor will they suffer Intoxication there from. 48. And beside them will be chaste women, restraining their glances, with big eyes (Of wonder and beauty) 49. As if they were (Delicate) eggs closely guarded.

Quran Surah An-Nisa 4:57. But those who believe And do deeds of righteousness, we shall soon admit to gardens, with rivers flowing beneath, - Their eternal home; Therein shall they have Companions [wives, NR] pure and holy; We shall admit them to shades, cool and ever deepening.

Quran Surah Ad-Dukhan 44:51. As to the Righteous (They will be) in a position of Security, 52. Among Gardens and Springs; 53. Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, They will face each other; 54. So; and Wwe shall Join them to Companions with beautiful big and lustrous eyes. 55. There can they call For every kind of fruit In peace and security; 56. Nor will they there Taste Death, except the first Death: and He will preserve Them from the Penalty Of the Blazing Fire.

 Which makes its appeal to the higher nature of man? The Bible does.

Which is more likely to be from God - that which appeals to man's higher nature, or that which appeals to his baser nature? The Bible is more likely to be from God than the Quran because its appeal is to man's higher nature, while the appeal of the Quran is to man's lower nature.

 

Reason No. 6

Islam cannot be from God because its morality is inferior to the morality taught by the New Testament. In examining the contradictions between the Bible and the Quran, we encountered Jesus' teaching that we were to love and pray for our enemies while the Quran says to fight and kill your enemies. There is a tremendous gap in the standard of morality between the two standards. Which is more likely to be from God, the high standard of morality, or the low standard of morality?

Reason No. 7

Islam cannot be from God because it is based upon a document, the Quran, made after God said revelation was finished.

Paul said that revelation would come to an end: 1 Corinthians 13:8, Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Jude 3 tells us that the faith was fully delivered: Jude 3, Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Peter said that everything that was necessary for man to be pleasing to God had been revealed.

2 Peter 1:3, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.

 

Reason No. 8

Islam cannot be from God because it is based upon the Quran which has internal contradictions. Any revelation from God will be consistent within itself. It will not contain internal contradictions. Since the Quran does contain internal contradictions, it cannot be from God, and any religion that is based upon it is not from God.

The Quran says that man was created from a clot of blood.

Quran Surah Al-'Alaq 96:1. Proclaim (or Read) In the Name of thy Lord and Cherisher, who created- 2. Created man out of A (mere) clot of congealed blood;

The Quran says that man was created from was created from clay.

Quran Surah Al-An'am 6:2 (Also 7:12) 2. He it is Who created You from clay, and then Decreed a stated term (For you). And there is In His Presence another Determined term; yet ye doubt within yourselves!

The Quran says that man was created from was created from water.

Quran Surah Al-Furqan 25:54. It is He Who has Created man from water: Then has He established Relationships of lineage And marriage: for thy Lord Has power (over all things).

These are internal contradictions that indicate the origin of the Quran was not the mind of God, but the mind of man, Muhammad.

 

Reason No. 9

Islam cannot be from God because the Quran frequently contradicts the Bible.

The Quran advocates the beating of wives who are perceived to be misbehaving.

Quran Surah An-Nisa 4:34 Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allâh has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allâh and to their husbands), and guard in the husband's absence what Allâh orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband's property, etc.). As to those women on whose part you see ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful), but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allâh is Ever Most High, Most Great.

The Bible teaches that man is to love his wife and treat her as his own body.

Ephesians 5:25-29, 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

Surely God will not change his mind about such a significant principle in husband and wife relationships. The Quranic ideal is contrary to the teaching of the New Testament.

 

Reason No. 10

Islam cannot be from God because it denies the crucifixion of Jesus.

The central figure of the New Testament is Jesus. From his temptations in the desert to the resurrection, the focus of Jesus is his death on the cross to provide a sacrifice for mankind's sin. The Quran denies that Jesus died on the cross and that would then preclude his resurrection. It is the contention of Islam that God took Jesus into heaven and transformed Judas to look like Jesus. The teach that it was actually Judas who died on the cross.

Quran Surah An-Nisa 4:157. That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus The son of Mary, The apostle of Allah"; But they killed him not, Nor crucified him, But so it was made To appear to them, And those who differ Therein are full of doubts, With no (certain) knowledge, But only conjecture to follow, For of a surety, They killed him not.

The Bible clearly and plainly teaches that Jesus was crucified on the cross.

Matthew 27:35, 35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

1 Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
