THE QURAN & HADITH PLAGIARIZED FROM THE TORAH AND BIBLE

I've read the Quran and the Bible numerous times and what  I discovered is that contents within the Quran and the Hadiths were plagiarized from not only the Torah and Bible but from other sources.  The contents plagiarized from the Torah and the Bible were altered to legitimize Muhammad's twisted ideology.  To illustrate my point, I will use one very simple example

Looking at the quote in 1 Corinthians Chap.2; Verse 9 is unique to the Apostle Paul, being his way of paraphrasing and/or combining texts in generalizing an Old Testament theme. The quote reflects Paul’s own wording and summary of God’s promise to believers. The most astonishing aspect about all this is that Muhammad cites 1 Corinthians Chap.2; Verse 9 and attributes it to God. Compare these statements as it is written:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, "ALLAH SAID, ‘I have prepared for my righteous slaves (such excellent things) as no eye has ever seen, nor an ear has ever heard nor a human heart can ever think of.’"   (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 93, Number 589)

 Copied from:

(1 Corinthians Chap.2; Verse 9)  "No eye has seen, no ear has heard,  no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him."

According to this Hadith from al-Bukhari, Allah uttered the above words that are obviously taken and only slightly modified from what the beloved Apostle wrote in his first letter to the Corinthians. Muhammad evidently plagiarized Paul’s quote and passed it off as revelation from Allah. Do keep in mind that the wording is Paul’s own summation of the Old Testament and cannot be found in any source predating Paul’s writings.

The statement found in Paul’s "quote" is NOT of divine origin.  So Muhammad's attribution to Allah what was not from Allah (whatever the source of the quote, whether from some apocryphal text, or made up by Paul, or whatever), disqualifies him as a true prophet.

Let’s look at Our Lord’s Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; And forgive us our debts, As we also have forgiven our debtors; And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil.  (Matthew 6:9–13)

Narrated in Sunan Abu-Dawud 28:3883:

I heard the Apostle of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) say: If any of you is suffering from anything or his brother is suffering, he should say: Our Lord is Allah Who is in the heaven, holy is Thy name, Thy command reigns supreme in the heaven and the earth, as Thy mercy in the heaven, make Thy mercy in the earth; forgive us our sins, and our errors; Thou art the Lord of good men; send down mercy from Thy mercy, and remedy, and remedy from Thy remedy on this pain so that it is healed up.

Here’s another.........

Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi 1688: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Blessed is he who has seen me, but seven times blessed is he who has not seen me but has believed in me."

Copied from:

(John 20:29) Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.”

Quran Surah Al-Baqarah 2:117:  The Originator of the heavens and the earth! When He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is.

Copied from;

(Psalm 33:6 & 9) The heavens were made by the word of the LORD and all the stars by the breath of his mouth. . .  He spoke, and it came into being. He gave the order, and there it stood.

There are numerous plagiarized verses in the Quran... too many to quote here.  Muhammad also plagiarized a bunch of apocryphal books and the Talmud all over the Quran, and of course most of his stories are taken from the Bible.

It is clear that the stories in the Quran are not revelation but plagiarized stories from a number of other sources. Most of the people who bring this up are Christians or other Non-Muslim theists but they have a good point. If you look at the Quran in historic context and study the exegesis of its teachings, it becomes obvious that aside from its constant claims that "Allah is great", lawgiving and bigotry against the "Infidel", it is little more than a compilation of borrowed stories from Arabian myths, folk tales, Buddhist legends, the Jewish Talmud, Midrash, and apocryphal works as well as Gnostic gospels and other apocryphal Christian tales. There is more plagiarism in the Quran than in the Book of Mormon, and that's saying something!

Some of the stories in the Quran were borrowed third hand such as the tale of Mary and the Fig Tree which seems to have originated in a Buddhist legend and was later borrowed by the Gnostics. The same is true of the talking infant Jesus which was originally a story about Buddha that was again borrowed by the Gnostics. Given that Muhammad thought Jesus’s Mother Mary was Aaron's sister Miriam and therefore Moses' sister too, it seems Muhammad was a bit confused. That would make Mary something like 1200 years old when she gave birth to Jesus (assuming that any of this ever happened). Muslims claim that the Quran is perfect and if you can find one fault in it, the whole thing is disproved. Well, I think we have a winner. Many of the stories were well known to Muhammad and his contemporaries. One of his favorite concubines was a Christian. So, he didn't get any revelations. He was just a common thief, or rather an uncommon thief since he was so successful with his plagiarism.

Even some elements of Zoroastrianism are found in Islam. Zoroastrians were practicing the five daily prayers long before Islam hit the scene. The Sarat (or Serat) bridge is another name for the Chinvat Peretu ("bridge of separation") of the Gathas.

In a nutshell, the Quran is a rip-off of the Bible, Torah and other pre-Islamic text. The Quran is just hearsay spread down the line from others. Muhammad’s own early followers plagiarized large sections of the Bible and the Jewish Torah, even old Indian and Persian text to create the Quran.  Noted Atheist Christopher Hitchens explains how the Quranic text was basically stolen from the other religions and is really a mixed up and corrupted version of several. Before Islam, besides the pagan religion, which Muhammad worshiped early in his life, there was a large Christian and Jewish community in Saudi Arabia. Muhammad just took the Christian Bible and the Jewish Torah and plagiarized text from those books to create the Quran.

To those who have objections to my comments, I ask you to go and look way back in history and read it ...........  read the Torah and the Bible and the books of other religions.  Take notes and then read the Quran and the truth will reveal itself.
